My Birthday - 01 September 2007

Yesterday, was my birthday. I was borned on the 1st September in the year 1989. It was around 10 PM when I first came out to feel this world. I was borned in the Huacheaw Hospital.

On friday the 31st of August year 2007.
Usually, on friday evening, my friend and I came to the church's basketball court and play basketball together and have fun. But on that day, the atmosphere seems to me a little bit wierd. After we finished the game, the lights of the court has gone out. And everybody sang happy birthday to me. I felt very good. I am happy to know that they remembered my birthday.

It was almost midnight. I was in my bedroom, sitting on my bed. I decided to end my seventeen years old and begin my year eighteeth with God. I prayed to God. After that, lots of my friends called at midnight to say happy birthday to me. Some of them didn't called, but send a text message to greet me instead. I am very happy to have them as my friends. Actually, my friends and I appointed to go out together on that night, but because there are some problems, we didn't go out. Anyway, we appointed to go out togehter some other day.

After talking on the phone with my friends, there was a knock on my room's door. I got up from my bed and move towards the door. I opened the door and found that it was my mom and dad. On their hands were cake and a card. They sang happy birthday to me. I let them into my room. We sat down. My parents blessed me and prayed for me. Then I prayed and blew the candles. I was very happy at that moment. My parents did not gave me anything for my present this year, but I did not feel bad. I think that being together and sharing happy moments and sad moments in already enough. I thank God that He gave me such a wonderful mom and dad. Then they prayed for me once more and went back to their room. Then I went to sleep.

1st September 2007
I woke up at nine o'clock in the morning. I began the day by praying to God and ask for protection and blessings for that day. My parent took me out to a restuarant for breakfast. After our breakfast, we went to the Mall Bangapi to do some shopping. After buying lots of stuff, mostly my mom, we came back to my dad's office. My dad's office is next to the church. Lots of my friends came to the church that evening because there is a marriage ceremony that day. After attending the wedding ceremony, my friends came to me and say happy birthday to me and gave me cards and presents. I was very surprised at that moment. I was glad to know that they still remembered my birthday.

This year, everything seems to be special. Thank God for everything he have done for me.
